 **2025** After recovering from their injuries and traumas, the Vanguard emerges again under the leadership of Paladin, who also reveals she is Alice Knight, the daughter of the Cowl and current CEO of Knight Technologies. It isn't long before an intergalactic incident pulls the Vanguard, with the exception of the Cowl, away from Earth.
