Magliozza Garden is a seemingly charming and affluent neighborhood in Miller Terrace (a district of Bendis City), boasting well-kept streets and manicured lawns. However, beneath the surface lies a dark underbelly, with the wealthiest residents being none other than the notorious gangsters who control the district. These retirees use their resources to give their children and protégés a boost up the social ladder through their connections to Miller University.
The Taglietti Crime Family reigns supreme in Miller Terrace, with Franco Taglietti at the helm. However, the true power lies with the elite residents of Magliozza Garden, who include a movie star, a state senator, a renowned painter, a celebrity chef, and a concert pianist. These individuals were all once helped by the Tagliettis, but have since become too successful and powerful for the mobsters to control. The DMC is only vaguely aware of these individuals' influence over the Tagliettis, known as the Five. Please make up real names for them (all of them Italian American) and provide basic information.
Known as the Five, these individuals have paid back the Tagliettis in spades, making them unimaginably wealthy and rendering them indebted to their former patrons. The Tagliettis may have thought they were grooming these individuals to be allies, but in reality, they have become their unwitting pawns.
The Tagliettis have been known to employ dangerous metahumans, specifically Toxicity, a metahuman who can raise the potency of a chemical by touching them that specialized in poison. Note that Bastion, a now deceased superhero, did a lot of protecting of Miller Terrace's citizens, while John Knight led a bloody violent campaign against the Taglietti family. Toxicity killed Bastion, and was nearly killed by the Cowl for revenge.
Remember the DMC shouldn't glorify the Tagliettis, keeping the tone of the document official, clinical, and hostile.
